Full Disk Encryption and Cloud Backups

I’ve been considering finally doing full-disk encryption on my drives, but also backing them up to the cloud. The thing is, I don’t really know if one affects the other and which I should do first. For reference, I’m considering Backblaze (With a private encryption key) for the cloud backup and then Veracrypt for full disk encryption. Can anyone give me guidance on this?

Well I use Vera crypt on my personal PC, and BitLocker on my Work PC, the files that are shared among them are shared over OneDrive using Cryptomator.

VeryCrypt is set as full system encryption. It askes me for a password before even Windows loads. Then all my files are accessible. Then Crypomator starts and makes a mounted point in which I store all my files that want to encrypt and send on cloud.
