Forum Voting System Improvements

Hi, I have a question about how voting (for suggestions) works: do they ever come back? From what I can tell, my account started with 4 votes.

I’ve tried looking up info on this, but it was sparse. I found this:

It would be great if we could make it so that either you get an extra vote or votes are purged for approved items so that you can “reuse” those votes. Now I often hit the limit.

I would think it’s a bit spartan to never give users any more votes ever again (unless they earn the Regular badge). Although I can’t predict the future for the items I’ve voted on so far, I’d be surprised if all were marked as approved within the next 6 months.
