Auto reset vote limit on forum for approved items

It would be great if we could make it so that either you get an extra vote or votes are purged for approved items so that you can “reuse” those votes. Now I often hit the limit.

If possible, instead of “purging” them (which some of us already manually do), it would be better if they stayed applied, but simply didn’t count toward the vote limit. This would improve the historical record of approved ideas, so people looking back at old approved posts won’t wonder why an approved post with lots of comments has few votes.

Votes are purged for completed items (not removed, but no longer count towards the limit which is what you’re asking for).

edit: I’ll give regulars 4 more votes though
