•Even when cache to disk is disabled some info is being written to disk as cache, what is that?
The “user data” is all of your configs on the app like HTTPS-only mode, extensions, search engines, etc… When you clear it, you will have a clean and fresh Mull install like when you opened it for the first time.
Cache data can be files, images and other things that are stored in the app when you open it.

Almost all apps store some data to the disk.
