Encryption schemes

  1. Chacha20 (Picocrypt CLI, paranoid+reed)[file level] + AES-256 (DroidFS-CryFS)[Hidden Volume]
    2. AGE (CLI)[file level] + ChaCha20 (DroidFS-CryFS)[Hidden Volume]
    3. AGE (CLI)[file level]+ AES-256 (DroidFS-CryFS)[Hidden Volume]
    4. AES-256(Cryptomator)[file level] + ChaCha20(DroidFS-CryFS)[Hidden Volume]
Which encryption scheme will be best for mid-high threat, file level done in tails, hidden in mobile (bigger storage)
if you have better proposition, you are welcome too, passes ofc different at levels, would use veracrypt, but tails have only 6gb ram free space in amnesic and even with 32 persisten it isnt enough

AES and ChaCha20 are both considered safe.

I am not sure what the benefit of using two different file-based encryption programs would be? You are calling DroidFS/CryFS a hidden volume but that is not true, they are not full-volume encryption tools like Veracrypt. They are similar to Cryptomator.

I would just use Cryptomator. There are some benefits to CryFS though, which I personally do not care about but you might for your use-case:

For DroidFS GocryptFS and CryFS are both good. They use industry standard crypto so use whats more comfortable.
