Nice to bust out of my hole and see some familiar faces at last night at the Vortex in Austin. It was a nice sized audience at a smaller venue with a few bands to spice it up as well as some interesting art exhibitions. Finally met Jonah and Nathan in person as well as Louis Rossmann. Really good to meet you both in person. The talk Dr Sharon Strover presented gave me some hope and more incentive to be more active with the local activism on technology and oversight politically.
