Dylib Hijack Scanner Review

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Lulu for a while and am quite happy with its capabilities in blocking unwanted network connections and enhancing my Mac’s security. Recently, I stumbled upon another app from objective-see called Dylib Hijack Scanner and I’m curious to hear from experienced users about its privacy and security features.

Here are some specific questions I have:

Privacy Protection: How does Dylib Hijack Scanner handle user data? Does it collect any personal information, and if so, what is their data retention policy?
Integration with Other Security Tools: Can Dylib Hijack Scanner be used alongside other privacy tools without conflicts? Specifically, how well does it integrate with Lulu?
Community Trust: What is the general consensus within the privacy community regarding Dylib Hijack Scanner? Are there any known controversies or significant endorsements?

I’m particularly interested in maintaining a high level of privacy and would appreciate detailed insights or experiences from those who have used Dylib Hijack Scanner.

Thanks in advance for your help and recommendations!

It doesn’t. Also, it’s open source, so you can check for yourself.

There’s zero interaction between DHS and LuLu - except maybe the LuLu popup for the update check of DHS.

Hearsay and personal anecdotes are useless and should not be the basis for deciding whether or not to use something.
