Hello! So I live in Poland and my bank supports payments by NFC using BLIK. I don’t know if I should ditch Google Pay for BLIK?
Edit: It also works in other countries on all terminals that support MasterCard
Probably lower fees that’s worth checking.
Actually, I checked and I think I have some fees for Google Pay (card fees). BLIK is free and doesn’t require a credit/debit card.And also BLIK contactless payments uses tokenization like Google Pay so the terminal doesn’t get the card information only the transaction token.
I’m using BLIK NFC since I have GrapheneOS and it works flawlessly. The only benefit I see in GPay is ability to choose card if youhave multiple banking cards
