Hi all,
Does anybody feel that the recent outages might swing people back towards preferring local applications/ storage and away from “the cloud” ?
Nope. But CS will pay a lot of fees due to SLA and outages.
The cloud has cemented itself unfortunately.
It is practical and economical for some things and for things that need to scale up or down somewhat rapidly and you cant beat those with on-premise. Enterprise will always have a use for the cloud.
Consumers on the other hand should just stick to local for most things but somethings like password managers are way to convenient to use in a “cloud”/online account.
Probably be a good idea to test your patches before pushing them out -
Its fine. We can test it on Monday. I just need to roll out this update so I can enjoy my weekend. Its almost 5pm anyway…
