that’s not likely to be happening; the best you can probably get is Tor Browser
nearly 100% of “free” VPNs are scams. ProtonVPN’s free tier is currently pretty much the only free VPN you should be using under any circumstances
ive used the tor browser (not the brave one the real one with tails) and at school it blocks videos. people say its becaue the network knows how big the traffic is. also a network knows if your using tor and a vpn is less suspicious (i want to do vpn over tor)

You actually don’t need an account to use Proton vpn free, just proceed as guest when required.
While this is true on Android there is no way, to my knowledge, to proceed without account on Desktop Operating Systems.

Using tor browser you make onion mail. It’s free to receive emails and have aliases for clearnet in free tier. The only limit is small mailbox and you need to login at least once in 3 months.
Then you register at proton with this mail alias.
if the reason you dont want to log in is not wanting an email tied to the vpn, mullvad is just an account number you pay for, no email at all. proton on desktop is gonna want a login no matter what. for the isp router and google AP on your network, a vpn does hide the traffic from them but the browser itself still leaks plenty, chrome phones home either way. ive been on browse.stealth.online instead of stock chrome with mullvad on top, works fine but the browser part is not a vpn replacement. vpn over tor at school is also just gonna be slow, the video blocking you saw is normal for tor
On the Vilvadi browser you can login into proton vpn with a Vivaldi account. Vivaldi has an integrated proton VPN so you can use Vivaldi account to login. I’ve seen the function, I haven’t tried it out. The browser gives you 2 options to login into the VPN. Maybe that will solve the account problem
by browser leaking you mean fingerprinting or something else? (also heard some rumors about mullvad donating to bad people idk if its true of half true)

Using it without a Proton VPN account only works on the Google Play Store version. The direct apk and F-Droid versions require sign ins.
I kind of assumed the play store variant could tie your app install to your google account and that they get additional statistics on who is installing it, hence why they could offer guest accounts there but not in other versions.
