Can someone recommend a FOSS iPad app for saving one's signature to sign documents?

I need to sign an important document that I must send ASAP.

Can someone recommend a FOSS iPadOS app that I can use?

I will be using my finger to sign.

Basically, I want to be able to extract my signature and use it on any document.

If there are no FOSS apps, I am open to a proprietary app that is 100% FREE.

Any document reader these days on iPad should have this functionality. What have you looked at yet? There are so many apps, will take time to evaluate which is likely best and this doesn’t bode well with your urgency.

Sorry, I don’t know an app off the top of my head. But any decent document viewer or doc management app should have this option. The best way however is to use the pencil but I’m guessing you don’t have it?

Does the Apple preview app in iOS 26 work for your purposes? Similar to JG don’t know any FOSS apps for this purpose off the top of my head, but if you are using iPadOS then you have some trust in Apple.

I didn’t look for any yet. I was gonna do it on a trusted family member’s iPad. I know there are many, but I was hoping the privacy community would have a FOSS recommendation on hand, as most apps are note FOSS.

I found another solution which didn’t involve any using a mobile app. But I am still hoping that someone can recommend a good signature FOSS app for next time.

I have no idea. My family member’s iPad runs on iPadOS 26, so I will look into it.
