Can prepaid Visa/Mastercard be used for anonymous payments?

I want to anonymously donate to an organization that only takes donations through PayPal. I notice that debit/credit cards are an accepted payment method but I’ve never used prepaid cards before and was wondering if there is a catch to using them that would make it unsuitable as an anonymous payment method. For example: Do they require I attach it to my legal identity during registration? Does anyone know if PayPal rejects prepaid cards for donations?

Privacy.com and MySudo are not available in my country.

I’m curious to know what’s stopping you from using privacy.com even if you’re not in the USA.

It’s on their homepage:

Privacy is currently available to US citizens or legal residents with a checking account at a US bank or credit union, and who are 18+ years of age.

I actually made an account once, and when I wanted to create my first card, it asked me, among other things, for my SSN, which as a non-US citizen, I obviously don’t have. So yeah, it really is only available for the US, unfortunately

It’s true that this detail is very discriminating.

You could go buy one and test the waters. I know in the US that there is no information verification for the pre-paid Visa/Mastercard gift cards. However, your country could have different laws which require verification. Doesn’t hurt to spend the $25 on one and test it with an online purchase.
