Building a Better Web Takes a Village: Introducing Kagi Specials

Nothing excites us more than bringing together people who believe the web should respect its users and put their interests first. At a time where it feels like a daunting task to find such products and services, Kagi Specials is our way of making that search easier with a handpicked set of friendly companies who share our values and are working toward a healthier, more ethical web. As a Kagi user, you’ll enjoy special offers on these services while supporting businesses that align with these values.

Unlike typical programs that prioritize profit over principles, Kagi Specials highlights privacy-first products that offer quality services with transparent business practices.

A few times per year, we select a limited number of services that meet our core standards: no surveillance, no ads, no selling your data, and products designed with the user in mind. If you’re building a privacy-first service, or know a company that should be featured, we’d love to hear from you. Share details or nominate a project through this quick form.

They don’t self host the form, using a third party with trackers, classic mistake done by corporates.

What forum are you referring to? Also not sure what you mean by “corporates,” but I certainly don’t think it applies to a company like Kagi or Ente (currently on the specials board).

I fail to see how your comment is accurate ir relevant in any way

It was a typo. The quick form link at the bottom is hosted by tally not by Kagi. I believe the criticism is that a company truly dedicated to “the cause” would vet the 3rd party form service or self host. That was my read but I could be wrong.

I meant “form”.
