These kinds of claims are nothing burgers meant to steal our time and attention, exploit our collective clicks for make money, and feed the ego of whoever made the claim.
In this case, it isn’t even clear that Bill Gates made the claim in the same way that the article claimed. The source article is locked, so I cannot look further into it. Media likes to blow up what people say, precisely for the first two reasons stated prior.
I read the article it’s not hard to bypass, there’s absolutely no source. It’s just some guy says bill gates said that then when you try to google this random company all you get is AI generated slop articles with fake AI generated images and a website that gives you a warning in your browser. This is clearly fake AI slop meant to get people linking it on forums like this and viewing ads on their site.
Good point maybe we should just hide the thread because it’s rubbish anyway.
