Back to Android stock from Graphene OS

As I mentioned, after a long time using Graphene OS on my Pixel, I had to revert to stock. My experience with the custom Rom was superb, but for several reason, I had to go back to stock ROM.
But now I have some trouble configuring some tools, I didn’t remember these don’t work very well:

I can’t activate Work Profile via Island or Shelter: Message error about the IT Administrators won’t allow that (WTF? :man_shrugging:)

The new Android feature Private Space, initially was present in the menu, but when I tried to enable, It simply won’t, without any explanation.
After a reboot, the menu disappears and I can’t find private space again!

The only thing I did in the start-up procedure of the smartphone is that I didn’t log in in the Play Store. Maybe this could be the problem?

Another question: do you recommend some user guide to hardening and make it private as much as possible, removing unwanted software. via the GUI or ADB scripts?

thanks

I think generally, these “cleaning” scripts and apps either do more harm or not much at all. The best thing you can do on stock is either uninstall or disable the unwanted software.

thank you! In fact I’d disable some gapps!

I think I found the problem: after logging into the play services, Shelter created the work profile without any problems and the Android menu for the private space, come to live again and it creates the private space profile without any issues.

I’m so disappointed… I wanted to leave the main profile not logged and logging into the private space only (or work profile, one of the two).

Another thing I didn’t remember: It’s not possible to transfer the installed apps of the main profile, inside the users profiles, so we’re forced to use the Play store or an Aurora store instance (or what you need for the purpose).

I hope this could help someone.
