Try obfuscated servers (offered by NordVPN, ExpressVPN, etc.) to bypass VPN detection. Use residential IP VPNs or Smart DNS services. Switching servers or using split tunneling for specific sites may help. Some proxy browsers or Tor over VPN setups also work. Avoid free VPNs, as they’re easily blocked.
If you have an issue with Google, a very simple and 100% reliable fix for me is
Use DuckDuckGo’s bangs : type !maps
Or go to maps.google.com
Them tap the menu (nine dots) and click “Google”
It will take you to Google Search without captchas.

Since no one has offered it yet, I think that a smart, simple and effective solution for this is to stop accessing such websites and services completely. Instead find alternatives to them. Why choose to bother with something that is not good, i.e. restricts access in certain circumstances? Does that not alone damage its trust, especially if the reason for such restrictions is unclear?
I do understand that this is on the total list of available options (just don’t use access the site), I’m definitely looking for one that does allow me to access while still protecting my privacy (as much as I can, anyway).
The solution that has worked from these recommendations was to scroll through my VPN sites and pick one that has not been banned, and at other times to use a different browser (i.e., not use Mullvad but start up Brave or Firefox).
On the topic of choosing to simply stop using the sites that ban VPN’s (etc.), I am starting to find people are getting overwhelmed and tired of all the work involved with “clawing back privacy” (my words). They seem to simply exhausted by the continuous efforts involved. Giving up is such an easy path to choose.
It is because this is not a solution. You are just avoiding dealing with the problem. Its not reasonable to expect people to drop a service and find an alternative anytime there is an issue.
