Any FF based browser recommendation to run on Linux?

The kicker…

Besides LibreWolf, Mullvad, Mozilla and Tor. :face_with_peeking_eye:

Just curious but what exactly are you looking for in a browser? The browsers you mentioned above cover a wide range of use cases; so some clarity on what you are looking for might help forum members provide more relevant recommendations to you.

With that said i have been hearing a lot about Zen Browser lately, and it may be what you are looking for. It is not recommended by Privacy guides, though it is a Firefox fork with chrome like user interface, plus some more advanced features from browsers like Vivaldi.

Not really. There isn’t much else that is interesting in the context of privacy right now apart from the browsers you mentioned.

What specifically are you looking for? You’ve ruled out all of PG’s recommended Firefox based browsers.

Floorp. Very feature rich.

Just an “extra” browser to use that would be dedicated to one website.

Separate Firefox container for that site?

This. The built-in functionality in Firefox is perfect for this use case.

Use floorp with its PWA functionality.

Profiles (or containers depending on use-case) can be good for this. Sometimes I’ll use a separate browser for a single site or single purpose, but that is usually only if I want an excuse to test that browser. Otherwise, I feel using profiles or containers in your browser of choice is usually a better fit for compartmentalizing an activity or website.

Yeah, that’s what i’d been doing but i’ve come to realize that it’s not fool proof as some sites are somehow still able to ID me

Which that are your referring to (Containers or Profiles?).

Each has pros/cons/differences.

There are various ways this can happen (e.g. stateless tracking or IP address). How are you verifying this (“sites are somehow still able to ID me”) and which sites?

Containers.

Several ways, but off the top of my head now…I get recommendations on one container based on my activity on another and I am prevented from creating an account or have problems when I do which doesn’t happen when I use a different browser. And yes, I use IPs/servers/proxis for each container.
