Any alternative recommendations for "Startpage Anonymous View"?

Since Startpage is no longer reliable for me, I wonder if there is any alternative to this function that still respects privacy

Sometimes I find myself with Rethink DNS + WireGuard that randomly block some sites, and the page doesn’t load at all (I don’t know if it’s the fault of Rethink DNS or the VPN, since the domain in the logs appears as a question mark and is not locked)

anyway, any alternative to Anonymous view?
Thank you all

Configuring another browser with another DNS?

F.x. set up mullvad browser with DoH.

Yes it’s an option, I hadn’t thought about it, but I was looking for something more similar to Anonymous view

Maybe Kasm? Since you are just streaming a browser from somewhere else it should be similar to anonymous view, it has it’s own ip, dns, etc.

it looks really good, I didn’t know it, thanks, but maybe too much for what I have to do

This recommendation is likely inadequate, but why not use a VPN provider, such as Mullvad VPN or IVPN, and set up a proxy in your browser’s settings?

For Firefox and its derivatives, it’s quite simple, and the guides for and from Mullvad and IVPN below explain it.

In the case of Chromium-based browsers, AFAIK, it’s a bit more cumbersome, but it should be fairly simple. However, if you’re lazy like me, you can the SOCKS5 proxies to Mullvad Browser and Firefox, and not Brave or any other Chromium-based browser.

(The links for Mullvad VPN’s SOCKS5 proxy guide and IVPN’s SOCKS5 proxy guide.)

Btw, if you’re using Firefox or a derivative, you can use Mozilla’s Multi-account containers to set up a different proxy server for each container. For IVPN it works great, but I’m not sure about Mullvad VPN, I currently don’t use it, so ymmv.

I did not mention Proton VPN at all here since I’m not familiar with it.

could be archive.is but it is a bit slow.

Thanks for the advice, I’m using Windscribe now but I’ll see if it has similar options, because it seems like an interesting technique on PC

Unfortunately, however, the problem is only on Android with Rethink DNS so I think it’s Rethink’s fault when it is running with WireGuard

the cons is that it is an archive and therefore it is static and that it requires many times CAPTCHA, but thank you very much for the advice.

The best part about archive.is is it removes dynamic parts of a webpage (typically driven by javascript) in a way that doesn’t break a dynamically-rendered text sections.

I also tend to use ghostarchive.org at times for webpages & for YouTube mostly.
