Desktop mode on Android is fully available. I cannot wait for GrapheneOS update with the same. Anyone have an idea on an ETA?

Imagine if desktop mode via iOS for iPadOS to show up was a thing. Wouldn’t that make for one of the most secure devices if one used it full time?
I hope Apple is taking notes and makes it a thing. More ways to use your devices is always a good thing.
It’ll most likely be a in a week or two at most after the changes land in the public AOSP, as usual.
Unfortunately, that might take a while due to the changes Google made to the AOSP release cycle at the beginning of this year (2026). Google will only make updates to the public AOSP code twice a year now instead of continuously, as seen by the banner on the AOPS homepage.
So, GOS might get the feature tomorrow (since we just reached Q2 of 2026), or it might be in three months at the end of June; whenever Google decides to release the code.
