I just moved to Linux (Secureblue) and see that Veracrypt, which I had been using since forever, does not have a flatpak – which means I have to do a local layering and, to be honest, I am still unsure about how these things update.
I see other apps like Vaults and SiriKali that do have flatpaks, and I was wondering whether anyone had opinions about them?
Bonus question: for torrent on Linux, Transmission or qBittorrent?
For something as important as encryption you’re better off using something with a strong reputation. Cryptomator is recommended by Privacy Guides and has an official Flatpak, you can use it locally without uploading to the cloud.
