A Nova is about to happen, but what app qualifies to find it privately?

I woul like to use an app to find locations of stars, planets or glaxies. I used to use an app (windows mobile), but that is out of the question…
What are you using or recommend, that qualifies for the site’s level of privacy goals?
Would be nice if it could sync once then stay usable with the cached data for a while.
Also would be nice if i could give my coords >> no need for active location service…

SkyMap is pretty nice. I dont know if it satisfies your needs though.
