What exactly is going on with Organic Maps? One of the founders wants to sell and the other doesn’t, so the community wants to create a fork of Organic Maps, right?

Well, I hope that this project will grow and evolve with several new features, I believe in it and I support it, too bad for Viktor though who (according to a summary by Grok) was keen on the project and wants to follow the community’s lead.
After Maps Me and Organic Maps, I hope that CoMaps will endure over time and not take a wrong turn, we need this project.

There are now releases available for CoMaps. Should we open a discussion for potential inclusion on Privacy Guides?
Are there any strictly privacy related reasons not to use Organic Maps? I think both have removed the Kayak thing.
And are there any differences in the features set between the two yet?

As a non Organic Maps user I’m more Intrased in the response from Accrescent if Organic Maps go the simple apps route.

It was released on the Play Store a few days ago.
(It is also avalaible on F-Droid, as an apk file on their website and on the Apple App Store. They also want to publish it on Accrescent.)
