Windows LTSC questions

privacyguides.net does not recommend use of windows LTSC primarily because finding a legitimate copy can be difficult, and instead recommends Enterprise. However, archive.org seems to be a reliable way to find and download the windows ISO. Furthermore, using the commands below you can check the SHA of the ISO, verifying that it is the correct untampered version of the windows LTSC you are downloading.

If this is all correct and you can verify the integrity of your ISO wouldn’t using windows LTSC be better than Enterprise for privacy reasons?

Common misconceptions

• LTSC is fast.
  It’s not fast, although there might be a bit more RAM available because of no store apps running in the background, and you can achieve the same result in GAC channel editions by turning off background apps and startup apps.
• It’s more privacy-oriented.
  No, telemetry options are the same as GAC Enterprise.
