Cases of IMSI catcher attacks using fake base stations have recently been reported in Japan, Thailand, South Korea, and other countries. Is there any way for ordinary consumers to prepare for this? And is the difficulty level low for crackers to implement this attack?

I never had a TikTok account and I don’t recall ever seeing tiktok in UBO (no wide-spread trackers on websites) so I’m guessing … no one?

Hi, thanks for those videos. It would be nice to provide a Transcript for those that don´t have time to listen to the whole thing. Could be done with Whisper for example, Just a suggestion.

guys

no good tt alternatives :sob:

is it just me , or are more than half of proxitok public instances not working? last revised aug 21, 2024 , think only 6 of 14 listed work

any specific reasons privacy guides frontends page dont include safetwitch and nitter? arent they open source too? both tend to work better with tor browser than proxitok

what info you guys got on loops and goldfish? loops.video faqs says will be open sourcing once out of beta and goldfish social publicly has no recent activity :sad_but_relieved_face:

There is a good tt alternative actually:

What reverse proxy would you recommend for someone getting into self-hosting?

Did anyone watch the show on YouTube and see whether the live chat was working? It seemed like we had a lot of technical difficulties today: I could see the live chat but I didn’t see any messages, but @jordan couldn’t even load the live chat at all :slightly_frowning_face:

Hopefully nobody wanted to ask a question and wasn’t able to, and hopefully we have more of that resolved next week. I’m not sure why we ran into so many issues today, but these international livestreams can be tough! At least we got through all the questions here on the forum
