I use the latest stable version of Fedora.
Which “Critical or private information” can an app get from my OS:
- if I will install it via Flatpak.
- if the app does not use any permission (which I can see them from Flatseal).
- if I will not run the Flatpak app via sudo.
For me “Critical or private information” means:
- machine-id
- any hardware device serial number like HDD serial number
- network MAC address
- OS username
- which apps I have installed or running
- any other finger-printable info…
Additional topic: It would be great if you also have comments for distrobox or toolbox.
