Hello everyone. I am using a computer with Ubuntu, and many programs are not in the official repository. Is it safe to use Flatpak to install applications, or could it pose a security risk? I’ve never used Flatpak or Linux before, so I don’t have any experience.

Flatpaks are perfectly safe to use. Feel free to install them.
As with any app you download anywhere to use, make sure you trust them and that they are actively being maintained or developed just to ensure you’re not using any deprecated piece of software.

It is safe to use Flatpaks. I can recommend Flatseal, its useful for the installed Flatpak-Software, you can disable the web connection and grant other useful ones.
