Are there any protocols I should follow or anything I should read up before purchasing a new SIM card? Should I go with a Physcial SIM or an ESim? I live in Australia if that helps.
Comes down to what you want this number for. If it’s your new main, just use it normally. If you’re keeping it separate for privacy, be intentional about what gets linked to it.
One thing regardless - avoid SMS 2FA on important accounts. TOTP apps are better, doesn’t matter what SIM type you’re on.
