Found a new cybersecurity channel focusing on privacy & security. She has a lot of good info and content that is in fact accurate and complete (enough). I saw almost all her videos before deciding to actually add her channel to my RSS. So, sharing this will all to add another source of privacy and tech news to your feeds if you like it enough.

Yes, I’m familiar with that channel too. I don’t follow it as I don’t agree with some of his takes. But its been a while since I’ve seen his videos so not sure what’s changed.
One of her previous videos had been suggested to me by the algorithm, but I only watched a couple of minutes. I just watched this one in full, and spend about 45 minutes taking notes. It’s excellent!
I love that she cites prominent examples of cases that illustrate why WhatsApp is not good for sharing confidential information, because it collects a ton of metadata and backups are not E2EE. I’m definitely going to use the examples of Paul Manafort (bad guy) and Natalie Edwards (hero) every time someone tries to defend WhatsApp.
