Use DNS over QUIC (DoQ) as much as possible?

I’ve been playing with DoQ over the past 24 hours and I’m seeing a lot of promise with this protocol. Just a quick look at my Adguard Home’s Average upstream response time for the last 24 hours, the DoQ resolver is about 10 ms faster than the DoH equivalent. Given all the benefits that have been reported about DoQ, does it make sense to use it whenever possible and DoH if DoQ isn’t available?

I’m currently learning how to use NextDNS and would like to use this over DoQ rather than DoH when possible.

Is the NextDNS app discontinued? I was reading that it can send device information to help identify device queries.

So how do I use either Mullvad or Proton VPNs with NextDNS over DoQ? Both apps on iOS/Android only allow me to use legacy IPv6 resolvers. Is this a big deal? I was told no since it’s inside the VPN tunnel. At the moment, I’m unable to identify device queries with the IPv6 method.

Does the Apple TV 4K support DoQ? With another DNS service, I was only able to configure it to use DoH.
