Hi, so recently I requested a gdpr package from epic games and they are storing the unique edid serial number of my monitors, as well as the serial numbers of my USB mic, and a USB interface I use with a different microphone. Would a VM keep this data out of reach, or are there ways to prevent software from identifying unique information of monitors and USB devices?
A VM wouldn’t prevent that collection, and there are many other things they can collect.
