edit. And it certainly runs at over 100 frames per second, and when I double-click the saved script on the PC, the phone’s screen opens on my monitor immediately. It does not require an internet connection or an account, it is FOSS, and it has 133,000 stars on GitHub.
edit2. I am completely opposed to such programs. They really don’t belong here. Still, I haven’t been able to find a way in two days that this could put me at risk. And today, after ten hours of practice, I even dared to try the bank..
It’s frankly nauseating how much it attempts to establish outbound connections, even though I’ve removed everything possible with UAD. The attempts originate from a few specific sources that persistently try to contact the manufacturer. While the total number of connections is quite substantial, the proportion that gets blocked is, in my opinion, insufficient. It’s horrifying to even contemplate what comes as standard on Android phones…
I realize you found a solution, but in case something similar happens again or to someone else….
This sounds like the perfect use case of a cheap iPad. Years of support and not that expensive. Plus it could double as a great media consumption device to segregate that activity from your primary phone.
