I want to use Tor Browser with uBlock Origin because I cannot stand ads! I find them abhorrent, immoral and wicked.
I know that it puts me in a smaller pool of users, yet I cannot quite understand how significant of an effect it may have on my anonymity. Since Tails (tails.boum.org) comes with uBlock Origin, it should not be that big of a problem, no? Or is Tails’ configuration of uBlock Origin very different? (not updating filter lists etc.)
Having uBlock will certainly change the fingerprint of the browser, depending on what lists are used if the site has content blocked that is on one of the lists.
I think Tails includes it just for convenience. Can’t remember if it has any lists added/enabled by default though.
