Are you saying that proton drive supports syncing from phone?
Also, there is a paid version so at least you have an idea where they are getting money from and non mining your data. It is all personal preference.

nope i was talking about mega
Hallo! I would like to sync backup of my Signal chat (Molly-FOSS on Graphene OS) with a folder stored in Proton drive.
But Proton drive native app for Android doesn’t allow to schedule any operation except photo backup, and Molly doesn’t allow to select Proton drive as destination of backup, while it allows to select other remotes like Nextcloud. I tried to schedule the synchronization of the local Molly backup to Proton drive with Round Sync. It started but failed. Maybe it depends on the fact that backup file is bigger than 5 giga. In the next few days my proton account has not been working on the android installation of Round Sync, nor on the installation of RClone for linux. I tried to configure again proton as backend, but it didn’t work on both the devices.
As for linux, I’m waiting for proton to release the official app. According to last month’s announcements it should be out by the end of summer. As for android, I thought that maybe I can schedule the operation with an other app, that see Proton as destination. Do you thing that termux can be a good solution? Do you know if it can cpy or synchronize folders with Proton? Is it a reliable app in terms of privacy and security? Thank you!
You could you try Syncthing.
Thank you. I already use Syncthing for other things. I didn’t use with Molly backup, because this seems too big. Once I read that Syncthing is recommended just for small files. But maybe I’m wrong. I will try. Thank you.
Can anyone help me to understand why it seems so difficolult to mantain the configuration of Proton Drive on RClone and Round Sync? Thank you
