This is well worth the watch. Flock CEO really appears to be moronic with the rationale he uses for his beliefs. What an uncouth person. And I say that as objectively as I can. How else would you characterize Flock and its “leadership”? You get a cult leader vibe from his mannerisms and what the company appears to be doing.
It is almost important to note that pushing back on narratives that surveillance is what stops crime and surveillance is what keeps us safe is what we need.
The bastardization of the internet by social media over the last decade and half has left a large and growing populous almost incapable of thinking critically on topics that dictate how they live but only live by what they should feel as told by those on the internet without much deliberation and thought.
You think I’m being overly dramatic and hyperbolic here. But really think about if what I am saying is truly unrealistic or an unreasonable deduction of observations one can make today having lived through the last two decades questioning inception of enshittening and enshittification when it wasn’t even officially coined.
Everyone should watch that video. It’s really important and what we need today - awareness. The creator also posts all their sources so we know it’s as accurate as it can be.
