I do hope that this will get enough attention and resistance and ends similar to Chat Control which for now remains on hold (and btw Chat Control was also supported by the same Spanish government).
Both privacy and anonymity are needed in liberal democracy. Without it, nobody could authentically participate in free discourse, and in turn, government processes.
Don’t get me started on how most of these issues could be resolved by stronger moderation teams, not a digital ID system.
