Update: Wow, I just checked the Hotspot Shield VPN Chrome extension and this is what I’m reading: “This extension is no longer available because it doesn’t follow best practices for Chrome extensions.” Major sigh for me! :cry: If anyone has any other suggestions I’m all ears!

Personally, I don’t see any benefit or use case for using VPN extensions. It does more harm than good.

I must be honest and say I disabled auto-connect. It was causing a lot of issues esp. on boot. Know I don’t know how much is due of Firefox and how much the Proton VPN extension
