Samsung Autoblocker Protection from Cellebrite or other data extraction methods and tools

Does enabling Samsung Autoblocker protect from Cellebrite. As seen in the image every recent Samsung Phone is vulnerable to Cellebrite (Android 7-14). You are only safe if they confiscate the phone when it is shut off with a secure password.

Can someone confirm whether Samsung Autoblocker protects from data extraction methods like Cellebrite?

Is leaving ADB turned off prevent Cellebrite? Or do you also need AutoBlocker on Samsung?

Or none of them do anything and Cellebrite bypass it all?

None of them do anything.

Get a Pixel or an iPhone.

Samsung Autoblocker is about blocking third party app store among other things rjght?

Yes. It is supposed to block updates frok usb and block usb commands. Unfortunately these effects are not any different than disabling ADB from developer settings.

The best thing you can do is to enable auto-reset after 20 false unlocking attempts.

Unfortunately, data extraction tools such as Cellebrite bypass auto reset after consequence failed attempts on every Android phone in the universe except for iPhones.

Not every phone has this feature. I believe it’s samsung exclusive.

Cellebrite can bypass autory sets after failed password attempts on samsung. So so there is no point in enabling it, the police can bypass that. It just becomes a burden because random person can reset your phone, and it doesn’t protect you from data extraction methods.

Interesting. That being said police might not know it cause most people have it disabled.

Not being rude at all, but why is the Pixel considered a safe device given the fact that google make it, I was thinking of buying one. My Samsung got seized by the police and when they returned it they left a cellebrite brute force scanner running on it the dummys, so I want to get rid of it.

Because of GrapheneOS, which only runs on Google Pixel.

I too recommend reading the GrapehenOS website to learn more.

Also, stock Android is not as private as iOS but GrapehenOS on Pixel (even though made by Google) is more private and secure than iPhone and stock Pixel. Hence, recommendation for Pixel only so you can install GOS on it.

From a privacy & security POV:
GrapheneOS (available only on Pixels) > iOS > Stock Android on Pixel > any other Android on any other device

Thank you.

Nice, thanks for that, will grab one over the weekend.

If possible, get a Pixel 8 or newer so you can use MTE.
