Oh, I was not aware that two “new” flags (Backup Eligibility and Backup State) were added in the level 3 implementation of WebAuth.

Nice, finally working as expected—passkeys are a big upgrade for security

Yup.
And I created a new card, and passkey was one of the identity verification method, along SMS and email. Since e-mail verification wasn’t working (for me, on GOS) this a very welcome win since I don’t have to disable Airplane mode anymore.
