## 📢 Announcement RVX has been **discontinued** and will no longer be maintaine…d as of **December 31, 2025**. > [!Caution] > - No further features, fixes, or updates will be provided. > - Issues and pull requests are no longer monitored. > - The repository remains available for reference and forking. ## ❓ Q&A ### Q. Why was the project discontinued? A. I expected the project to be discontinued due to my aging development environment, but there were other reasons: > [!Note] > - Over the past three years, 80% of the contributions to YouTube ReVanced have been made by a small number of specific contributors. > - Contributors have not accepted any donations for three years and have been working for the public good. > - Contributors have also directly or indirectly helped fix long-standing bugs in RVX. > - Recently, the ReVanced Team blacklisted (banned) these same contributors who have been actively contributing to YouTube ReVanced over the past three years. > - The discontinuation of RVX is the greatest protest I can make against the ReVanced Team's recent actions. > - I no longer want any packages or libraries using the `ReVanced` branding, so I have not designated a successor for the project. _For these reasons, I made my GitHub profile private about a month ago and prepared for the release of Morphe._ ### Q. What happens if RVX is discontinued? Are there alternative projects? A: RVX already has minimal patches implemented to ensure it can continue to function for at least a few months even after the project is discontinued. For example, there's the `Disable update screen` (included in the `Hide layout components` patch), which removes the server-provided `Update your app` screen. **If RVX is no longer working, you can choose alternative projects:** > [!Note] > - **[Morphe](https://github.com/MorpheApp) (Recommended)**: This project is an alternative to ReVanced, which no longer has an active maintainer. Considering its future sustainability, I recommend it as a long-term successor project. I will continue to contribute as a member of the Morphe Team. > - [RVX by Anddea](https://github.com/anddea/revanced-patches): This is a fork of RVX that has been maintained for about 2 years. _For immediate compatibility, [RVX by Anddea](https://github.com/anddea/revanced-patches) is available; however, for sustainable support, I recommend migrating to **[Morphe](https://github.com/MorpheApp)**._ ## 🤝 A Final Note of Thanks It has been an incredible journey over the past 3.5 years. I am deeply grateful to the community for all the support and contributions that made this project possible. While this repository is now archived, its spirit continues in [Morphe](https://github.com/MorpheApp). Thank you for being part of the ride!
