I downloaded the app based on recommendation. It’s not free, downloading gives you a 7 day trial. The sneaky part is it’s hard to decline, using the app seems to automatically sign you up for a subscription. One time purchase is $100. Please consider editing the exif editor tool page.
The recommended criteria requiring the product to be free doesn’t make much sense tbh. Metapho worked nicely last time I tried it.

I agree that the criterion doesn’t make sense and we should consider updating it (at least for mobile OS).
However, Metapho has never claimed to be free; its App Store description clearly states that a subscription or a one-time purchase is required.
iOS can natively remove EXIF data

Hm, it’s been a while but I’m almost positive this wasn’t the case when it was added. We should replace this
