Short description

2fa describes itself as “A dedicated two-factor authenticator built to securely manage your one-time passwords”.

Why I think this tool should be added

It looks like a more modern authentication/TOTP app compared to Aegis (which is already recommended: Multifactor Authentication - Privacy Guides), written in Kotlin and Rust and published on the Accrescent app store. It doesn’t have to replace Aegis, but can instead be recommended alongside it.

It’s not even close to mature enough; the user experience is poor, and it has no USP compared to the existing options we recommend.

Users have also had to redo the setup multiple times in the last couple of months.
