Hey everyone,

Just bought a new laptop and plan to ditch the pre-installed Windows 11 for Linux or another OS? Good news! You might be able to get a refund for that unwanted Windows license.

It’s often buried in the End User License Agreement (EULA), but you can potentially claim a refund if you don’t accept the Windows terms and don’t boot into it (or follow the specific manufacturer’s procedure)

My experience i was looking for a laptop and that device provide windows pro but i already have switched to fedora that time and dont want to use it after several email and some visit i couldn’t get any refund of my windows so instead i delete the partition and installed silverblue and though i lost 50$ cash.
