This was originally going to be a comment update to my previous comment in @jonah 's statement about ICE and Minnesota in the US, but the thread has been locked.

At the time, Dutch historian Rutger Bregman had not posted his video on YouTube, but now he has. He also wrote an op-ed for the Guardian linked below.

I reiterate that I personally don’t support the alternatives Bregman suggests, but I support his overall message about ChatGPT and think the video and article are worth sharing with friends and family just for that.

Me neither. I do have a lot of friends who use it though, and I sent them the video.
If you have friends and family who use ChatGPT, you could send it to them too.

I have zero interest in using any chatbots.

They are profiting from you even if you use it for “free". (I’m just stating this generally, not in response to anyone in this post.)
