Quackr.io KYC'd Me When I Added My Bank Then Refused To Refund BTC

Just a warning to everyone here. On their website, there are no limitations to adding financial services. I paid for a Quackr US # and added my bank for 2FA texts. Immediately I was taken to a form demanding my real name, real address, real dob, reason for using. Demanded selfie and upload of govt issued ID!!! WTF??? Hey Quackr, newsflash: people use your service for PRIVACY. I said no thank you and they promised me a refund, but only if I gave them my real name, dob and place of birth and BTC address. I decided to give these to them and never heard from them again. It was just a scam to get my info.

Hey mate,

We completely understand your concerns and we sincerely apologise for the unanswered emails that should not have happened.

We will go ahead and process your BTC refund as promised. Could you please provide us with the following details so we can get it sorted for you:

  1. Your full legal name

  2. BTC wallet address

  3. Place of birth

  4. Date of birth (example: 20 April 2026)

Once we have that we will process it straight away!

Cheers,

Ummm…no. Your website says nothing about KYC requirements for financial services, and my multiple emails to support@quackr.com inquiring specifically about this PRIOR to my purchase were unanswered.

I have grave reservations about uploading my ID or selfie photo to your site or anywhere else on the internet for that matter. The bank account that I’m using your number for I have had for 35 years - I don’t mind if the bank has this info, but I do mind if quackr has it. So would you mind just refunding my BTC payment as you said you would in another email?

Thank you,

Aidan
