Proton Authenticator for android

Anyone know where to get Proton authenticator? Like in APK?

I have my devices fully degoogled, so there is no way to get through Play Market.

P.S: I haven’t found it on F-Droid or Protonapps website

Can you install google play mirrors like Aurora store. They dont rely on google play seevices. Its like a proxy.

Will my ip be hidden? I don’t want even one bit of my data to be stored in Google.

Not unless you use a VPN. Your IP address will be sent to Google when using it.

That’s the issue. So it’s not “proxy” in full meaning.

And this is done by company, that aims to replace google. Publishing APK is 5 min task. Shame @Proton_Team :sad_but_relieved_face:

Proton Authenticator now on Android via F-Droid.

Wow those antifeatures…

What’s the problem? I don’t think it’s an issue with a FOSS app like this and from/on F-Droid at that.

Huh, that’s really odd…

Most of Proton’s tools are phenomenal candidates for Obtanium installation. Highly trusted developer, open source, published APKs on both their site & GitHub, hashes provided with each release

But for whatever reason, their Authenticator seems to be the singular application for which Proton does NOT publish an APK with each release. I wonder why this application is handled differently
