When you click on “Become a Member (Cryptocurrency),” there’s a Cloudflare box. I was surprised to see this, since I didn’t think Cloudflare was trusted. Can someone explain why Cloudflare is used instead of something like hCaptcha?

So what you have to understand is that Privacy Guides is fiscally sponsored by Magic Grants, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Fiscal sponsorship is where a legally registered organization (typically a nonprofit like in this case) holds money on behalf of a community group, social movement, or project like Privacy Guides who don’t have the capacity or desire to register as a formal legal entity. Magic Grants handles the accounting, payroll, and other financial needs for Privacy Guides, and believe me it’s a big service for them to sponsor us because that admin work is a gigantic pain in the ass in the United States. They do it to support us and don’t charge us fees like any other nonprofit providing similar services would, so it is a very generous arrangement from their end.
When you donate to our project you are making a donation to Magic Grants, not a Privacy Guides organization nor anyone on the team. We have an agreement with Magic Grants that donations we collect are put in a separate fund, that 5 members of our team form a committee which votes on how those funds are dispersed, and we explicitly added a clause saying we have the right to transfer to another nonprofit (or our own if we choose to create one in the future). But in the meantime, Magic Grants totally controls the funds, accounting, and donation process. We didn’t build the donation page, and I can’t spin up a Monero wallet to accept donations outside of them, because then from a legal perspective we would be using Privacy Guides branding to benefit a private individual (even if I just immediately sent anything I got to our Magic Grants fund).
TL;DR This is all a long way to say that we have no control over the donation process, this is entirely handled by Magic Grants. If you have a question about their privacy policy you should email them at the email address at the end of that document.
All of this being said, I am looking into a solution to accept Monero donations with a simple wallet address & QR code rather than through their web form. I believe we can do this relatively soon 
To be honest I actually prefer Cloudflare to hCaptcha lol - I’m not going to ask Magic Grants to change it, because I don’t know of a better alternative really, and I think it is probably necessary to have something on their end. When you fill out the form it generates an entirely new cryptocurrency address just for you, which is not computationally free.
Magic grants is a great org very greatful for them.
