Privacy.com has a new card type in beta, it’s apparently invite-only, that you can add to google/apple/samsung pay to use with NFC payments:

This fulfills the original purpose of using virtual cards which is to maintain anonymity from a merchant while providing security from fraud, but the cost of convenience means involving a third party in Google/Apple/Samsung. Might still be useful to some.
