I want to pay for a service online, the only way to pay is through a credit card and I absolutely don’t wanna put my name on this website. So is there a way to pay anonymously somehow?

There are some services such as https://trocador.app/en/prepaidcards/ that allow you to purchase prepaid cards with cryptocurrency such as Monero.
Be cautious though as some of these services do not support 3D secure.
https://privacygateway.io/ claims that they do support 3D secure via SMS or some app, but I have not tried it myself.

Hmm. I am going through the flow and managed to select Monero to pay the initial fee (receiving address blocked):
In any case, you could also use some no KYC swap such as Trocador to send them a currency they do accept. E.g., swap XMR → BTC with the BTC destination address being Privacy Gateway’s address.
Though another note of caution, some do not accept payments from exchanges, you may want to confirm in their terms of service.
Til now, the only way I found out is Rewarble (rewarble.com).
This works this way:
You buy a PaysafeCard on any physical store (with cash I assume)
You go to any of Rewarble’s partners, like G2A or Kinguin. and buy a Rewarble voucher. You could use anyone (When you see them, you know what I mean)
The list of partners are in REwarbl’s website. I used G2A.
Now that you have a voucher code in your mail, you go to Rewarble and sign up. Don’t worry, they only request you an email, and in my case, it was enough with a Simplelogin alias.
After that, you redeem your voucher and it will added to your Rewarble wallet.
Now, you can see that Rewarble has A LOT of services where you can deposit money: Paypal, Tinder… You can create a Mastercard if you got, at least 25$ in your wallet.
I DIDN’T tested the Mastercard yet. What I tested was an allegely Aliexpress voucher.
And I say allegely because it basically creates a credit card with a random card number and CVV. You can put any name you want (ej: Leon Bethencourt) and the phone number is random.
Now what I did was to order something on Aliexpress using that card. The package name was Leon Bethencourt and, surprisingily, the payment was inmediately accepted and arrived to its destiny without any problem.

I think one year is a to long period to use the same “anonymous card”.
Since it will accumulate to much information that could be avoided by using a new card every month
Probably because they want to lock you into a commitment. Prepaid cards are often notorious for charging high fees (reload, usage, declined-transaction, etc). This may be a business strategy to extract as much money from you as possible while presenting the card as a “cheaper” alternative.
Also, I wouldn’t recommend keeping a large balance on a prepaid card for an extended period. It’s safer to load only what you need shortly before using it, since the card could be frozen or the service could be discontinued, and usually there will be nothing you can do about it.
