Mulvad Browser History

I finally downloaded mulvad browser and I see that history is, by default, off. I am trying to figure out how important this is for privacy. Does having a saved history contribute to fingerprinting in any way? Or does it only do so if you have saved cookies?

I had planned to use mulvad as my workhorse browser–the one where I might finish one day and hope to come back and find the 2-3 websites that I had been looking at the night before. Obviously sometimes bookmarks work for this, but oftentimes I read things that I do want to know but maybe aren’t worth bookmarking.

I did try to find an answer on this forum but the two threads that showed up in search didn’t really answer this particular question…

Thanks!

Not saving history is more useful for anti forensics or physical threats. It doesn’t meaningfully contribute to fingerprinting as much as you think

Thanks Kev, that makes sense.
