So, I was wondering if using Mullvad browser with ProtonVPN instead of MullvadVPN a bad idea?
My Unlimited subscription is ending and I could simply buy MullvadVPN with addy.io and that would be cheaper + maybe better if it isn’t a good idea to use ProtonVPN with Mullvad browser.

The browser will still work fine with ProtonVPN. But you would not be able to use Mullvad Leta.
I personally like the Proton suite as it offer me a lot I use everyday so I stick with Proton.
It really comes down to personal preference for how compartmentalized you want your privacy products you use be.
Any service that gives you an IP address shared with other people should be sufficient to get the protections Mullvad Browser provides.
If you’re really concerned about the size of the pool of Mullvad Browser users on a non-Mullvad VPN service, I think Mullvad Browser in general is probably not the right choice for you and you should explore Tor Browser.
For most people there shouldn’t be anything to worry about.
But when you use Mullvad browser without any modification and with their VPN, you are much better hidden online… The needle in the haystack effect…
